Waitress extends its run at London's Adelphi Theatre

The London production of Waitress has officially announced that it will be extending its West End run through the New Year. Given the musical's overwhelming popularity since its premiere at the Adelphi Theatre earlier this year, the extension comes to the sur-pies of no one.

Waitress The Musical to continue warming its buns in London

Originally meant to book until 7 December 2019, Waitress has officially announced that it will be extending at the West End's Adelphi Theatre due to overwhelming ticket demand. The hit musical will now be booking until 4 January 2020 in an open-ended run. Tickets for the new extension are on sale now.

The current London Waitress cast are sublime

Waitress currently stars Lucie Jones as Jenna, Marisha Wallace as Becky, Ashley Roberts as Dawn, David Hunter as Dr. Pomatter, Peter Hannah as Earl, Shaun Prendergast as Joe, Stephen Leask as Cal, Blake Harrison as Ogie, and Kelly Agbowu as Nurse Norma.

Audiences will have just three weeks left to see Ashley Roberts (The Pussycat Dolls). Laura Baldwin, who was only temporarily replaced by Ashley Roberts, will return to her role as Dawn on 12 August 2019.

In her review of the newest Waitress cast for LTD, Sandra Howell praised many of the cast members' vocals, including David Hunter's "insane" falsetto, Blake Harrison's scene-stealing "wack physicality and excellent timing," and Harrison and Roberts' "uproarious" performance in the show-stopping number, 'I Love You Like a Table.'

Waitress is the ground-breaking Broadway musical that made history with its female-led team of creatives, including renowned pop singer Sara Bareilles, who provided the show's original score. Now having crossed the pond, Waitress continues to captivate its audiences with superb acting, eye-popping visuals, and stunning musical performances.
