This festive comedy of biblical proportions stars a trio of talents: Hugh DennisLesley Garrett and John Marquez, who will play a cast of thousands, including God, Mary, Joseph, the Archangel Gabriel, Herod, and an ox. The hilarious Christmas comedy follows two actors, Maurice Rose (Hugh Dennis), Ronald Bream (John Marquez) and, and opera diva Mrs Doreen Small (Lesley Garrett) in a reimagining of the ‘greatest story ever told.’

Hugh Dennis is a beloved British comic who is best known for starring on the BBC1 sitcom, Outnumbered, and on BBC2’s popular panel show, Mock The Week. The renowned actor and writer is also a prolific radio personality who writes and presents Radio 4’s award-winning programme, The Now Show, and Radio 2’s It’s Been A Bad Week.

Lesley Garrett is one of the most famous British sopranos of our time who frequently appears in opera, concerts, musical theatre, and television. Considered by many to be a national treasure, Garrett has enjoyed one of the most successful careers of any modern-day, classically trained soprano. John Marquez is known for starring as PC Joe Penhale in the ITV Comedy series, Doc Martin. His television credits include In the Club, Porridge, Death in Paradise, Suburban Shootout, and Hotel Babylon. His most recent stage credits include Once in a Lifetime at the Young Vic and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Savoy Theatre.

The Messiah is set to transfer on camel back to The Other Palace on 3 December 2018. Tickets are expected to sell fast, so book early and avoid disappointment!
