Further casting has been announced for the upcoming West End premiere of 9 to 5 The Musical with Bonnie Langford set to return to the production following her appearance in the show’s 2012-2013 UK tour. 9 to 5 opens on 29 January 2019 at the Savoy Theatre and is booking until 31 August 2019.

Bonnie Langford to return to Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 West End musical
Bonnie Langford is to portray Roz Keith in the upcoming West End production of 9 to 5

Fresh off her run as Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street and following speculation that she might be returning to 9 to 5, Bonnie Langford has been confirmed to be reprising her role as Roz Keith from the hit 2012-13 UK tour of 9 to 5, the musical based on the 1980 film that features hit tracks by Dolly Parton. She joins the previously announced Amber Davies as Judy Bernly, Brian Conley as Franklin Hart, Louise Redknapp as Violet Newstead and Natalie McQueen as Doralee Rhodes.

The 9 to 5 West End cast also stars Alexander Bartles, Ashford Campbell, Christopher Jordan Marshall, Demmileigh Foster, Emily Woodford, Giles Surridge, James Royden-Lyley, Jenny Legg, Jon Reynolds, Llandyll Gove, Lucinda Lawrence, Natasha Mould, Rhiane Drummond, Sasha Wareham, Sean Needham, Simon Campbell and Victoria Anderson.

The creatives of 9 to 5 include choreographer Lisa Stevens, designer Tom Rogers, lighting designer Howard Hudson, casting director Victoria Roe, musical director Andrew Hilton, and musical supervisor Mark Crossland, who is also in charge of the arrangements and orchestrations.

Fed up with the misogynystic and sleazy behaviour of their boss, Mr Hart, three female employees at Consolidated Industries – Violet, Doralee and Judy – take matters into their own hands when they band together to plot a mutiny and teach the CEO of Consolidated a lesson!

This blockbuster-to-stage musical, whose 2009 Broadway production was nominated for an unprecedented 15 Drama Desk Awards in a single year as well as 4 Tony nominations, is set to take the West End by storm!
