Thriller Live has just announced a special partnership with The Prince's Trust to provide a year-long outreach programme. Thriller Live to celebrate its longevity with special Gala Charity Performance

'If you wanna make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and then make a change.' - Michael Jackson in his 1988 smash-hit song Man in the Mirror

This 'once-in-a-blue-moonwalk' Gala Charity Performance will feature high-profile guest stars from the music and entertainment industry, who will be performing some of Michael Jackson's greatest hits alongside the West End cast. Proceeds from this performance will be donated to The Prince's Trust charity organisation.

The Prince's Trust, which was founded in 1976, is a charity organisation whose sole purpose is to help young disadvantaged people between the ages of 11 and 30 get their lives on track, whether they are struggling in school, unemployed, homeless, experiencing trouble with the law or facing mental health problems. The charity helps provide vulnerable young people with the financial support they need to improve their lives. Three out of four people supported by The Prince's Trust manage to stabilise their lives by entering work, education or vocational training. The Prince of Wale's charity supports 100 new young people each day and has successfully helped over 900,000 people since its founding.

In addition to this outstanding achievement of 4,000 performances, Thriller Live has also reached several other milestones. It currently holds the record for the longest show to run at the Lyric Theatre since it opened its doors in 1888. It is also currently the 14th longest-running musical in West End history, as well as the sixth longest-running musical now playing in London. You simply can't 'beat it!' And on 29 August 2018, Thriller Live will be celebrating Michael Jackson's would-be 60th birthday.

The special Gala Charity Performance in support of The Prince's Trust begins at 7.30pm on 12 September with red carpet arrivals scheduled for 7.00pm.

If you are a fan of the legendary King of Pop and have not yet seen this show-stopping musical complete with the 'funk of forty thousand years', then why not book for the 12th of September and support a great cause? There is no script or story, just high-energy, eye-popping entertainment!
