    Full casting announced for The Prince of Egypt

    Today saw not only the final casting announcement for the new musical The Prince of Egypt but also the fabulous press launch, which was the production's first public outing. The event saw the incredible cast take to the stage along with director Scott Schwartz and iconic composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz. Stephen told us that along with 5 of the acclaimed songs from the DreamWorks Animation film there will be 10 new songs in the upcoming production! We were lucky enough to hear some of the new songs and some we already recognized today.

    As well as the press launch which has us somehow even more excited for the London premiere of this brand-new show, and the full cast announcement, we are now privy to the first new set design illustration which has also just been released. Read below for all the new exciting information coming from The Prince of Egypt today.

    The complete cast of The Prince of Egypt

    Previous casting announcements for the production introduced us to Luke Brady (Moses), Liam Tamne (Ramses), Christine Allado (Tzipporah), Alexia Khadime (Miriam), Joe Dixon (Seti), Debbie Kurup (Queen Tuya), Gary Wilmot (Jethro), Adam Pearce (Hotep), Tanisha Spring (Nefertari) and Silas Wyatt-Barke (Aaron).

    Joining the initial cast will be Mercedesz Csampai (Yocheved), along with Simbi Akande, Casey Al-Shaqsy, Joe Atkinson, Danny Becker, Felipe Bejarano, Pàje Campbell, Adam Filipe, Soophia Foroughi, Natalie Green, Jack Harrison-Cooper, Rachael Ireson, Kalene Jeans, Christian Knight, Jessica Lee, Oliver Lidert, Jay Marsh, Scott Maurice, Carly Miles, Sam Oladeinde, Alice Readie, Christopher Short, Ricardo Walker, Danny Williams, Niko Wirachman and Sasha Woodward.

    Along with the creative team of dreams, this cast are already proving themselves to be utterly phenomenal. The raw talent which we were witness to today had the room abuzz and took everyone on a journey from intrigued and excited to eagerly anticipating and desperate for more. This team of cast and creatives are going to blow the roof of the Dominion Theatre when they move in, in February 2020.  

    The Prince of Egypt tickets are on sale now!

    The public journey of this exciting new production is just beginning for us here in London, the press launch inducing intoxicating anticipation ahead of its premiere at the West End’s Dominion Theatre, previews starting on 5 February 2020. Tickets for The Prince of Egypt, however, are already on sale and you’ll want to secure yours as soon as possible for what’s going to be an absolute phenomenon!


    A love for theatre stemmed from my love of literature and music, but the West End on my doorstep opened up a whole new appreciation and passion for all things stage-y
