    Final casting announced for UK premiere of Falsettos

    The two-time Tony Award-winning, ground-breaking musical set to make its UK premiere at London’s The Other Palace from 30 August 2019 has just announced the final casting and the excitement levels are about to boil over! Tickets for Falsettos are a must have for anyone remotely stage-y, as this transfer has been awaited for almost three decades since it first opened on Broadway in the early 90s.

    Who will be joining the previously announced Falsettos cast?

    The previously announced cast of this highly anticipated Broadway musical are as follows: Natasha J Barnes as Cordelia, Daniel Boys as Marvin, Matt Cardle as Mendel, Gemma Knight-Jones as Charlotte, Laura Pitt-Pulford as Trina and Oliver Savile as Whizzer.

    The cast of Falsettos in the West End will be completed by Albert Atack, George Kennedy, Elliot Morris and James Williams who will all share the role of Jason.

    The Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos has a book by James Lapine and William Finn, music and lyrics also come from Finn. This production has a complete creative team that includes Tara Overfield-Wilkinson (director and choreographer), PJ McEvoy (designer), Nic Farman (lighting designer), Chris Whybrow (sound), Richard John (musical direction), Mark Crossland (musical supervision) and produced by Selladoor Worldwide.

    What is Falsettos about?

    Falsettos is the show-stopping, hilarious musical about a modern family and looks at the life of a gay man Marvin, and his wife, his lover, his son, their psychiatrist and their lesbian neighbours. This Tony Award-winning smash hit was originally created during the height of the AIDs crisis, however, this musical all about the relationships of one family remains light-hearted and perceptive all whilst leading up to a heart-breaking end.
