    Casting announced for Glass. Kill. Bluebeard. Imp. at the Royal Court in London

    The world premiere of Caryl Churchill's quadruple bill, Glass. Kill. Bluebeard. Imp., has found its cast. The four-plays-in-one production opens at the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs on 18 September 2019 with press night slated for 25 September at 7pm. The show will be booking until 12 October.

    Glass. Kill. Bluebeard. Imp. Royal Court Theatre cast

    Caryl Churchill's quadruple bill of plays entitled Glass. Kill. Bluebeard. Imp. and performed back to back is set to star Caelan Edie, Deborah Findlay, Kwabena Ansah, Leo Rait, Louisa Harland, Patrick McNamee, Rebekah Murrell, Sarah Niles, Sule Rimi, Toby Jones, and Tom Mothersdale.

    The production is directed by James Macdonald and features costume design by Nicky Gillibrand, set design by Miriam Buether, sound design by Christopher Shutt, and lighting design by Jack Knowles.

    The London-born playwright's last stage play Escaped Alone opened at London's Royal Court Theatre to overwhelming praise and received an off-Broadway transfer. Many of Cary Churchill's plays are now regarded as modern classics, including A Number, Far Away, and Top Girls

    James Macdonald, director of the new quadruple bill, last collaborated with the Royal Court on One For Sorrow, Escaped Alone (including the New York City production, The Children (also including the NYC production), and The Wolf From The Door.
