    Casting announced for Cinderella pantomime at the Lyric Hammersmith

    This year's Cinderella pantomime at the Lyric Hammersmith in London is set to star Jodie Jacobs, Lauren Samuels, Shobna Gulati and more.     The Cinderella Lyric Hammersmith cast are the perfect fit

    Casting has been announced for the latest annual pantomime at London's Lyric Hammersmith: Cinderella.

    Stepping into the titular role in both her panto and Lyric Hammersmith Theatre debut is Timmika Ramsay. She is joined by her fellow co-stars Gabriel Fleary (Don Quixote, Richard III) as Bob the Prince, Jodie Jacobs (Little Shop of Horrors, Dick Whittington) as Buttons, Shobna Gulati (Everybody's Talking About Jamie at the Apollo Theatre) as Madame Meanie, Rhys Taylor (The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre) as Fairy Fredbare, Lauren Samuels (We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre) as Popsy, and Mairi Barclay (The Snow Queen) as Topsy.

    The cast is completed by young ensemble members Bradley Bryant, Carla Reid, Jessica Manu, Jon Alderson, Melanie Joyce-Ashurst, and Rachel Shobande.

    Cinderella pantomime creative team for Lyric Hammersmith

    The latest Cinderella panto was written by Jude Christian, who was also behind the writing for Dick Whittington and the direction for Jack and the Beanstalk at the Lyric. Cinderella is directed by Tinuke Craig (All's Well that Ends Well for the RSC) and features lighting design by Joshua Pharo, design by Frankie Bradshaw, sound by Lorna Munden, compositions and arrangements by Corin Buckeridge, musical direction by Joanna Cichonska, choreography by Shelley Maxwell, and casting by Will Burton.

    About the annual Lyric Hammersmith pantomime event

    This year's Cinderella marks the 11th annual pantomime show at the Lyric Hammersmith following its inception in 2009 with Jack and the Beanstalk, which was adapted by Ché Walker, Joel Horwood, Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, and Richard Bean and featured the voice of Stephen Fry (Mythos Trilogy) as the not-so-jolly giant. The venue's pantomime event has also featured the likes of Stevie Webb, Vikki Stone, Mel Giedroyc, and more, over the course of its existence in the London theatre scene.
