    WICKED TICKETS BREAK NEW BOX OFFICE RECORD!

    The producers of the West End production of Wicked have announced that the musical grossed more than £1 million in a single week smashing box office records.

    In the final week of December, Wicked ticket sales grossed £1,002,885 meaning an extraordinary figure of more than 20,000 people saw the Apollo Victoria production over just nine performances!

    The producers of Wicked have claimed that this is the highest gross of any London musical in Theatreland history.

    The Wicked ticket sales figures follow the news that in 2010, Wicked grossed in excess of £30 million, an increase of £3 million woth of tickets on the previous year.
    In a statement, Wicked’s executive producer Michael McCabe said 2010 had been “an extraordinary year” for the musical.
