    One Man, Two Guvnors Extended Again! 200,000 new tickets released for sale

     Nicholas Hytner’s five star National Theatre production of One Man, Two Guvnors announces a further new booking period releasing over 200, 000 new tickets for sale in the West End, taking bookings at the Theatre Royal Haymarket to 31 August 2013.

     From 19 November, Tom Edden will return to the London production to play Alfie the Waiter.  He joins Owain Arthur who plays lovable chancer Francis Henshall, Jodie Prenger who plays Dolly, Phil Cornwell as Charlie, Rhona Croker as Pauline, David Benson as Gareth, Nigel Betts as Harry, Derek Elroy as Lloyd, Daniel Ings as Alan, Ben Mansfield as Stanley Stubbers and Gemma Whelan as Rachel Crabbe.  Ensemble members are Robin Berry, Gillian Budd, Andrew Dennis, Laura Matthews, Richard Shanks and Gavin Spokes.

     
    Nicholas Hytner’s production of Richard Bean’s award-wining adaptation, based on Carlo Goldoni’s The Servant of Two Masters, has songs by Grant Olding. One Man, Two Guvnors physical comedy director is Cal McCrystal, designs are by Mark Thompson, with lighting by Mark Henderson, sound design by Paul Arditti, fight direction by Kate Waters and choreography by Adam Penford.
     
    Fired from his skiffle band, Francis Henshall becomes minder to Roscoe Crabbe… but Roscoe is really Rachel, posing as her own dead brother… who’s been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers. Francis spots the chance of an extra meal ticket and take a job with one Stanley Stubbers. To prevent discovery Francis must keep his two guvnors apart. Simple.
     
    Tom Edden returns to the role of Alfie in the West End production of One Man, Two Guvnors having been nominated for a Tony Award in the role on Broadway. He created the role to huge critical acclaim in the show’s original run at the National Theatre as well as in the West End at the Adelphi Theatre.  His other stage credits include Oliver! at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, 101 Dalmatians and Hamlet.  His television credits include Doctor Who and Stuart: A Life Backwards.
     
    One Man, Two Guvnors opened at the National Theatre in May 2011.  In November last year, after a UK tour, the show opened in the West End at the Adelphi Theatre where it completed a sell out run. The Broadway production of One Man, Two Guvnors recently completed its successful run at the Music Box Theater, where James Corden won the Tony Award for Best Actor.  A second UK tour, with a new cast, will begin in October this year and in February 2013 One Man, Two Guvnors will embark on an international tour.
