    NARNIA´S PRINCE CASPIAN, BEN BARNES, TO TAKE LEAD IN WEST END´S BIRDSONG

    Famous for his role as Prince Caspian in the Chronicles of Narnia films, is to take the lead role in the forthcoming production of Birdsong at The Comedy Theatre.

    Ben Barnes, who has also performed in The History Boys at the National Theatre and in the film Dorian Gray, will play Stephen Wraysford in this new adaptation of the 1993 novel by Sebastian Faulks.

    Adapted for stage by Rachel Wagstaff, Birdsong will be directed by Trevor Nunn.

    Birdsong runs at London’s Comedy Theatre from September 18 to January 15, 2011, with press night on September 28.
