    Martin Guerre comes to London

After the phenomenal success of Les Miserables and Miss Saigon in the West End, another musical of duo Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boubil returns to London.

Based on the true story of French peasant Martin Guerre, this musical premiered in 1996 in West End´s Prince Edward Theatre.

Set in France, Martin Guerre is forced to marry girl Bertrande in order to produce Catholic heir. Soon after marriage Martin Guerre leaves his wife and goes to fight Protestant Hugenots.

The musical will be produced by Cameron Mackintosh and the London theatre where Martin Guerre will be performed is yet to be confirmed.

Martin Guerre tickets will go on sale as soon as the show will be officially announced.
