London Theatre Gift Vouchers - The perfect gift

If you are looking for a different kind of gift idea to get that special person then look no further, London Theatre gift vouchers - The perfect gift!

London Theatre gift vouchers are an excellent gift idea as you are giving them more than just a material gift but an experience they will remember forever. Better yet, there are well over 60 plays and musicals currently showing in London, so there is surely something to please everyone.

London Theatre gift vouchers are available to purchase online or by calling the ticket agent direct and generally range from a minimum of £10.00 up to as much as you would like to spend. When deciding the value of gift vouchers you would like to purchase, you can first go online and have a look around at the different shows and the approximate amount a good ticket will cost. This is usually around £60.00 for good seats but some shows are a lot cheaper so it's best to check this out first. Better yet, they can also be used to book things like Thames River Cruises, Madame Tussauds, The London Eye and The London Dungeon. You can then simply purchase the vouchers and they will be posted to you within 10 days.

Redeeming the vouchers for a show is just as easy. Once it is decided what show and date then it is as simple as calling the phone number on the vouchers and the booking can be made over the phone. All they need to do is quote the voucher numbers to the telephone staff and the booking will be made. If the value of the booking is more than the vouchers then a credit/debit card can be used to make up the difference. It is always best to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Many agencies have deals with the theatres and can offer special discounts much below the face value of the ticket price which can only be booked through an agency.

If you are not sure about buying vouchers and want something more specific then why not buy them a couple of tickets to a show you know they would love, they may even bring you along! Theatre tickets can be purchased online from a reputable ticket agency, from one of the many ticket booths scattered throughout London's West End or from the theatre directly. If you buy from a ticket agency or ticket booth then you will most likely have to pay a booking fee, which is how they make their money. If you buy from the theatre directly then you will get them at face value however many theatres box offices are not open during the day and prefer for the agencies to sell their tickets on their behalf. Also if you leave it to the day of the performance then if it is a relatively popular show, it is highly likely that the performance will be fully sold out.

Theatre tickets are also a great idea for a hens night or any kind of social gathering with a group of friends or colleagues. Hens nights are particularly popular with shows like Moulin Rouge! and Magic Mike Live. Fun shows like these, along with shows like Abba Voyage and Guy and Dolls have the whole audience up and dancing in the aisles by the end of the show. Also almost all of the shows offer special group discounts for groups of 8, 10 or 12 or more depending on the theatre.

So next time you are stressing and can't think of what to get someone as a gift then think no more, London Theatre gift vouchers - the perfect gift!
