    LONDON THEATRE BREAKS

London Theatre Breaks, are very popular if you want to visit London over a weekend.  As we all know it can be a very costly time visiting all the sites and attractions in London, there are the transport costs, food and drink, accommodation, not to mention the shopping you might want to do!  Rather than booking hotels, restaurants and theatre tickets separately, there is always a possibility of looking for packages.

London theatre breaks may include, a 2 or 3 night stay in a hotel, including a theatre ticket, or a train ticket.  The possibilities are endless, especially as travel agents and hotels get special rates, enabling value for money packages.  You should look around for offers in newspapers, the internet, or even contact the hotels to see what packages they can offer.  Normally you have a stay a Saturday night, so it should fit perfectly in your schedule without having to take any time off work!  But always check what conditions apply as they will vary company to company.

Another option is to look at pre-theatre dinner packages.  This is also great value for money, as you can often choose from a set menu, of 2 courses and then enjoy a musical or play afterwards.  The restaurants are mostly packaged with theatres that are a 10 minute walk away, and also it can help you deciding where to eat, if you are not familiar with London.  The meals normally start at 6pm, which gives you over an hour to enjoy your meal, and then a brisk walk to the theatre to take your seats for the chosen show.

There are a number of free things to do and see in London, so with a careful budget, there is no need to miss out!  For example, you can take a walk to one of the many parks, Hyde Park being one of the biggest alongside Kensington gardens and include the popular Diana Memorial Playground and the Peter Pan Statue.

If you’re into museums and a bit of culture, then you can visit Tate Modern and Tate Britain – they are exceptional national art galleries housing some of the finest artworks in the world. Tate Modern focuses on contemporary art while Tate Britain displays British Art from the sixteenth century to the present day. Why not delve into the history behind Hamilton once you've seen the hip hop classic.

And if you love theatre, then you may also fall in love with some street performers!  The West Piazza of Covent Garden Market has street performers to entertain you every afternoon. Good acts can draw huge crowds and the performers love to get audience members to help them with their act. All performers are licensed and have passed an audition to perform here.

All of this can be enjoyed if you book London Theatre Breaks!  So book up and experience the highlights of London today!
