    Lion King reviews are everywhere. This is production that is shown on Broadway, in the West End, Las Vegas, Hamburg, Madrid, Tokyo and Singapore and has been seen by more than 55 million people in the world. On face book Lion King reviews abound from it's 550,400 fans!

    Whether you are a child or adult, fan of the Disney film or not, the stage version of the story of a lion cub's journey to adulthood and acceptance of his royal destiny has many fans flocking time and time again to see the show around the world.

    On Broadway one fan makes his Lion King review raving about the fantastic performances, costumes and set designs and says that even though it is a Disney cartoon, the stage production can be enjoyed by adults. There is nothing childish about this musical.

    Even hardened critics from papers such as the New York times feel transported by the musical extravagnaza saying, "Suddenly, you're 4 years old again, and you've been taken to the circus for the first time. You can only marvel at the exotic procession of animals before you: the giraffes and the elephants and the hippopotamuses and all those birds in balletic flight."

    What about the West End production? The Lion King tickets sell out quickly in London as being one of the most popular shows suitable for all ages. The show will be celebrating it's 12th year anniversary this October.

    On forums such as Trip Advisor it is ranked at No. 35 as a top London attraction out of 1,249 attractions reviewed. Latest Lion King rviews from the ordinary public are "went on Saturday 12th August with my partner (both mid twenties) as a special treat whilst in London and we would see it again and again and have already recommended it to all of our friends/family. I literally cannot recommend this show enough, it would be great for all ages". Many Lion King reviews do recommend that you try and get an aisle if sat in the Stalls so you can get the best views of the animals coming down the aisles.

    And the critics? Back in 1999 when Lion King hit the West End the press critics of the day had this to say: "Sarah Hemmings of THE FINANCIAL TIMES says, "As blockbuster musicals go, this is one with beauty and brains." CHARLES SPENCER of THE DAILY TELEGRAPH" says, "For once a mega musical lives up to the hype. This is a dazzling show with the heart of a lion." NICHOLAS DE JONGH of THE EVENING STANDARD says, "A beautiful dazzle of invention and imagination." BENEDICT NIGHTINGALE of THE TIMES says, "Wonder of African jungle is show worth catching." PETER HEPPLE of THE STAGE says, "This stage version of the Disney animated film is a spectacular delight."

    Ten years on at it's 10 anniversary the critics still had pletny to praise about the show with the Stage commenting, "There is enough jaw-dropping theatrical spectacle in The Lion King to tickle even the most hardened theatre critic’s palate.     There are also touring productions of the Lion King but reviewers did feel that it is worth going to one of the main productions for seeing the best quality with regard to the staging and costumes.
