Let It Be, the international hit show celebrating the music of The Beatles, opened for a third run in London’s West End on 9th July for a limited 11-week run.  The final performance at the Garrick Theatre will take place on Saturday 20th September, before the production moves to Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, and then embarks on a World Tour visiting Singapore, Malaysia, Germany and Switzerland later this year.

Over 100 hopeful musicians attended open auditions on 3rd September to find new members for the Let It Be band, at the Garrick Theatre. Master musicians from all walks of life were invited to audition for the four leading roles, providing they could recreate the authentic Beatles sound.  Successful auditionees will have the chance to play to packed houses in the West End and across the world.

Producer Jamie Hendry said “We saw a number of great musicians from all areas of the UK, and further afield.  Plans are afoot to tour the tour the UK in 2015, and Let It Be will return again to the West End in the near future”

The summer West End run marked the 50th anniversary of the London premiere of A Hard Day’s Night. Let It Be opened at the Garrick theatre following a triumphant 18-week tour of the UK and Ireland.

Let It Be established itself as one of the West End’s most popular shows when the production originally opened at the Prince of Wales Theatre in September 2012, before transferring for a year-long run at the Savoy Theatre from January 2013 – February 2014.

Seen by over 800,000 people worldwide, Let It Be continues to delight audiences across the globe, having recently played to audiences in Germany, Japan, Moscow, and on Broadway.

Let It Be showcases the music of the world’s most successful rock’n’roll band, in a spectacular theatrical concert charting the band’s meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces.

The show is packed with over forty of The Beatles’ greatest hits including: I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hard Day’s Night, Day Tripper, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Strawberry Fields, When I’m 64, Twist and Shout, Get Back and many more.
