Kerry Ellis teams up with Brian May for new single One Voice

Currently wowing audiences as Grizabella in Cats, much-loved West End star Kerry Ellis has teamed up with Queen guitarist Brian May for new single One Voice, out this week.

One Voice is a brand new recording by Brian May and Kerry Ellis, just completed and rush released Monday 13 April.  The video of Brian and Kerry’s performance of the song is already available to be viewed at Brian's official Youtube channel.

A regular vocal partner to Brian May in the recording studio and in live concerts, Kerry Ellis is a highly respected star of both the West End and Broadway, currently inspiring rave reviews as Grizabella in Cats at the London Palladium.

Announcing the release, Brian says: “This is probably the fastest turnaround I’ve ever achieved - in terms of getting from a finished mix to a new song being ‘out there’ - but we’re rarin’ to go, and decided to dispense with the formalities and throw our new track out there without a backward look.”
“This track is Art for Art’s sake.  To me, it’s something I’m already proud of, with a magnificent vocal performance by Kerry Ellis, but also it has a crystal clear human message – ‘You have a voice … your voice CAN make a difference’.”

One Voice is a song written by Ruth Moody, co-founder of the Canadian music group, The Wailin’ Jennys.  Ruth has personally given her approval for this new arrangement by Brian.

The song is currently available on all digital partners.
