Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain Part Two Set To Return To Garrick Theatre

Horrible Histories is back! This time with more gruesome gore and foul facts to keep both children and adults entertained alike. Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain Part Two! is set to return to The Garrick Theatre this summer.

This fantastical fact based tour through British history is based on Terry Deary’s much-loved books, it takes the audience on a journey through the ages to meet everyone from William Wallace and Boudicca to Dick Turpin and Queen Victoria.

After the sell-out success of the first show Barmy Britain, brought to us by the Horrible Histories team the second installment will be back in the West End from 3 to 31 August.

The original show recieved rave reviews The Times said  "Is this any way for children to learn about history? Too right it is! If lessons were always like this, kids would be queuing up at the school gates every morning. Be thrilled!" and Time Out  “a genuinely sly alternative to classroom orthodoxy, staged with wit, love and wry post-modern humour”

The next installment, Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain Party Two!, is sure to excite and enthrall audiences as much as its predecessor. Written by Deary and Neal Foster, the Birmingham Stage Company production serves up a feast of funny facts like its equally fast-paced forerunner. Starring the show’s co-creator Foster and Barmy Britain regular Alison Fitzjohn, who have both previously appeared in the show’s prequel, the show is suitable for everyone aged six and older.

Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain Part Two! is on for a strictly limited period will play daytime performances. This will be a sure fire hit with the kids over the summer holidays so book early to avoid disappointment!
