GOSSIP: KYLIE TAKES A NIGHT OFF

Kylie Minogue joined her friend and stylist William Baker as guest of honour last night in a show of support for his new show in the West End, burlesque style show The Hurly Burly Show on at the Garrick Theatre  until 1st May.

She was suitably dressed as the 42-year-old star wore an unusual pom-pom trimmed nude backless frock by Pucci which rather saucily had a plunging lace-up front as well as killer nude peep toe Jimmy Choo's for the premiere in London.

Called The Hurly Burly and taglined 'A contemporary burlesque review' the raunchy revue is directed by 37-year-old William and has just opened in the West End's Garrick Theatre.

The Hurly Burly Show stars its founder, Miss Polly Rae, who created the show five years ago at the Soho Revue Bar and it's described as an all singing, all dancing burlesque-inspired revue with a contemporary twist fusing fashion, music and popular culture.

William, who began his career as a fashion designer, made his debut as a theatre director in the 2007 West End revival of Rent.

Kylie was taking a night off from her Aphrodite tour, which kicked off in Denmark in February, to support her friend in his new endeavour.
