GLOWING REVIEWS FOR NEW CAST OF ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS AT THE THEATRE ROYAL HAYMARKET

Now at it's third theatre in London with it's second cast, One Man, Two Guvnors which transferred from the Adelphi Theatre to the Theatre Royal Haymarket , hasn't lost any of it's joyous humour with the lost of it's original cast to the Broadway production.  The new production is currently on sale until 15th September.

Many people were battling to get tickets whilst the show was still performing at the Adelphi with the original cast, perhaps fearing that the new cast wouldn't live up to the original, but fear not!

One reviewer even thinks the show has been subtly enhanced with the piece now being a true ensemble led by new leading man Owain Arthurs who easily steps into the shoes of award winning James Cordon.  Another reviewer said, "a singular talent in Owain Arthur, whose Francis Henshall is rather less ovoid and even more prone to head-slapping incredulity. What’s more, Arthur’s purposefully deployed Welshness lends a winning musicality to events already shot through with music courtesy of composer Grant Olding and his invaluable band, The Craze. Arthur is very funny indeed."

It just goes to show that theatreland has a classic on it's hand with the comedy that is described as both sophisticated and innocent with it's non-stop laughter and even without the star turn of James Cordon this is one play that should run and run.
