    Disney gives away 1500 free Lion King tickets to celebrate 15 years in the West End

    London theatregoers queued around the block in the miserable London rain earlier today in the hope of getting their hands on Lion King tickets for free as part of Disney's promotion of Lion King's 15th Year in London's West End.

    According to the Evening Standard, "Thousands of committed theatre lovers huddled under umbrellas this morning to get their hands on a limited number of free tickets to see The Lion King. The heavens opened as queues began to form outside the Lyceum Theatre in the early hours".

     
    The Lyceum theatre was giving away 1500 free Lion King tickets to celebrate 15 years of the Lion King in the West End.
     
    Tickets are now on sale for performances of The Lion King at London's Lyceum Theatre with selected performances on sale without any booking fees at LondonTheatreDirect.com

    Disney's The Lion King is one of the most popular musicals of all time and is currently the sixth longest-running shows in West End history.
