    Dirty Rotten Scoundrels extends run at the Savoy Theatre until March 2015

    Jerry Mitchell’s production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has extended its booking period at the Savoy Theatre until Saturday 7th March 2015. Robert Lindsay, Rufus Hound and Katherine Kingsley will continue to star as Lawrence Jameson, Freddy Benson and Christine Colgate throughout the new booking period.

    Sir Howard Panter (ATG’s Joint CEO and Creative Director) said: “We are thrilled with the audience and critical reaction to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.  Night after night packed houses raise the roof with laughter and leap to their feet with applause for this new musical comedy. We have found the perfect home for this production in the lavish Savoy Theatre, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has truly become the night out for theatregoers.”

    Lindsay, Hound and Kingsley are joined by Samantha Bond as Muriel Eubanks and John Marquez as Andre Thibault. The cast also includes Lizzy Connolly as Jolene alongside Gavin Alex, Darren Bennett, Niamh Bracken, Lisa Bridge, Darren Carnall, Andy Conaghan, Phoebe Coupe, Claire Doyle, Alice Fearn, Selina Hamilton, Ian Knauer, Lisa Mathieson, Zak Nemorin, Genevieve Nicole, Javier Santos, Todd Talbot, Dominic Tribuzio, Jon Tsouras and Zara Warren.

    The show is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winning Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots/Legally Blonde). Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has music and lyrics by Drama Desk Award winner David Yazbek and book by the Golden Globe and Emmy-Award winning Jeffrey Lane.

    This musical is based on the legendary 1988 film starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin, directed by Frank Oz. The musical has been reconceived and reimagined for British audiences following its Broadway run.
