COLD FEET STARS SPOOKED BY GAVIN AND STACEY'S MOTHER HEN

Hermione Norris and Robert Bathurst to join Blithe Spirit cast at the Apollo Theatre.

Norris and Bathurst will play husband and wife once again as Ruth and Charles Condomine in Noel Coward's perennial favourite, Blithe Spirit at the Apollo Theatre.  They will be joining Gavin and Stacey's Pam Shipman, much loved actress Alison Steadman who portrays eccentric medium Madame Arcati.

The duo were originally teamed together as Karen and David Marsden in the wildly popular ITV series Cold Feet, which also made stars of Helen Baxendale, James Nesbitt, Hermione Norris and John Thomson.  Hermione Norris has carved out a successful TV career since the show ended in 2003 in both Spooks and Wire In The Blood.  She recently took part in the 24 Hour Plays at The Old Vic.  Robert Bathurst has been no stranger to the West End with roles in Whipping It Up at the New Ambassadors Theatre and Members Only at the Trafalgar Studios.

Blithe Spirit sees Steadman's Madame Arcati conjour up the ghost of Charles' annoying and temperamental first wife Elvira, who is hellbent on splitting him and new wife Ruth up with both hilarious and disastrous results.  The show will run at the Apollo Theatre from 2nd March to 18th June 2011.
