    Blondes do have more fun!

A hit on Broadway, Legally Blonde transferred to the West End's Savoy Theatre in late 2009 and became an instant success on this side of the pond too.  Based on the 2001 Reese Witherspoon film of the same name, the show follows underestimated homecoming queen Elle Woods from her sorority campus to Harvard Law School in her quest to prove you should never judge a book by it's cover.  Dumped by her boyfriend for a brunette, the wide-eyed yet mischievous blonde turns both heads and pre-judgments around in the lively and funny family-friendly show.

Two Pints Of Lager & A Packet Of Crisps and Gavin & Stacey star Sheridan Smith delivers a knockout performance as Elle, and is joined on the soundtrack by members of the original West End cast including singer Duncan James of boyband Blue, one time Doctor Who and At Home With The Braithwaites star Peter Davison and former Eastender and Strictly Come Dancing winner Jill Halfpenny.  The cd, recorded live at The Savoy Theatre, will be released on August 16th.
