Bat Out of Hell teams up with the Invictus Games Foundation

Bat Out of Hell: The Musical has announced that they will be partnering up with the Invictus Games Foundation. The Invictus Games is an international sporting event for sick, injured or wounded active-duty servicemen and women, and veterans.

The musical has made their initial financial contribution as part of the year-long partnership. An exclusive charity gala performance of Bat Out of Hell will help launch the sponsorship and is to be held for competitors in the Invictus Games. Hundreds of tickets to see the show have also been allocated for veterans and their families. Additionally, extra funds have been made available for veterans living outside of London to help cover travel expenses to see the performance.

Accompanying the performance will be family theatre workshops, private tours, and a unique employment programme to help wounded, sick, or injured servicemembers and veterans pursue a career in theatre and show business.

Michael Cohl, the producer for Bat Out of Hell, had this to say: “We are proud to be partnering with the Invictus Games Foundation and to be supporting this wonderful charity with its mandate to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and drive respect for those who serve.”

The General Manager, Julian Stoneman, further added that the event would not only provide veterans with amazing opportunities but would also give them and their families living outside the capital the once-in-a-lifetime chance to see one of the best shows playing in the West End today.

CEO of the Invictus Games Foundation Dominic Reid was ecstatic about the partnership, going on to say that it will tremendously help the foundation to "serve those who have served."

Bat Out of Hell is now playing at the Dominion Theatre. Take advantage of our interactive seating plan when you purchase your tickets here.
