Oscar-winning writer SIR TOM STOPPARD scooped the Best Play gong for ROCK ''N'' ROLL, with lead actor RUFUS SEWELL named Best Actor. The Special Editor''s Award was given to PETER MORGAN''s FROST/NIXON for outstanding contribution to theatre.
