    Project Polunin Announces Casting

    Sergei Polunin’s upcoming Project Polunin has released full casting information. The world famous Polunin will be joined by dancers from across Europe. Consisting of Goleizovsky’s Scriabiniana, Andrey Kaydanovskiy’s new ballet First Solo, and the world premiere of Polunin’s Satori, Project Polunin works to celebrate and highlight the history of classical dance while embodying our current times in the creation of their new works. In collaboration with artists, writers, musicians, and filmmakers as well as dancers the project seeks to “convey the joy of dance”.

    In addition to Polunin Goleizovsky’s Scriabiniana will feature The Royal Ballet’s Natalia Osipova, Valentino Zucchetti, and Akane Takada, from the Birmingham Royal Ballet Yaogin Shang, from Bayerisches Staatsballet Laurretta Summerscales and Yonah Acosta, from The Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre Alexey Lyubimov, from the Bolshoi Ballet Evgenia Savarskaya, from the Stuttgart Ballet Jason Reilly and Elisa Badenes, and from the Hamburg Ballet Alexandre Riabko and Silvia Azzoni.

    Satori will feature Sergei Polunin, Natalia Osipova, Jason Reilly, Alexey Lyubimov and Royal Ballet School Junior Associate Thomas Waddington. As previously announced First Solo will star Sergei Polunin. Scriabiniana and Satori will be accompanied by the Orchestra of English National Opera and conducted by Gavin Sutherland.

    Project Polunin comes to the London Coliseum for a limited run from December 5-10, 2018. Tickets are available now, book early to avoid disappointment.
