Born June 22, Simon-Anthony Rhoden is a professional British actor. He made his West End debut in Kinky Boots and worked his way up to playing the role of Lola. He has both on-stage and on-screen experience.

Training:

Simon trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).

Awards:

At the Broadway World UK Awards, he achieved the Best Long-Running West End Show Performer award for his portrayal of Lola in Kinky Boots.

Theatre:

Simon has delivered amazing performances in various stage productions. Currently playing Aaron Burr in Thomas Kail’s Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre/Cameron Mackintosh, he was Lola in Jerry Mitchell’s Kinky Boots (Playful Productions); Jim Conley in Suzanne Emerson’s Parade (One-Off Productions); Lance in Mark Finbow’s Beauties Legacy at The Keeper’s Daughter; Man in Matt Peover & Hannah Eidinow’s If I Should Stay (Desmon O’Conner & Sarah-Louise Young); Devon in Chris Urch’s Married to the Game at the Theatre 503; Ash in Anna Jordan’s Marianne at Without a Paddle.

While in training, he has also performed in several shows such as Hannah Eidinow’s Man of Mode as Young Bellair; Aaron Mullen’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Fairy/Flute the Bellows Mender; Joseph Blatchley’s Mechanical Piano as Gerasim Cusmic Petrin; John Baxter’s Vernon God Little as Pastor Lassalle/Brian Large; Lyndsey Turner’s The Grace of Mary Traverse as Mr Hardlong; Rodney Cottier’s Revenger’s Tragedy as Junior; Gari Jones’ Gas Station Angel as Mr Entertainment/Dyfrig.

Film:

Although relatively new to the industry, he played Shaun in director Sam Miller’s Let It Snow (Endor Productions/Sky TV).

TV:

In Ally Pankiw’s Mae and George, he stars as Ambrosia Majesty (Netflix/E4).

Rehearsed Reading:

He has worked as Ko S’La/Ko Ba Sein in director Ryan Kiggell’s Burmese Days at the Aya Theatre Company, and Paul Robeson Jr/Young Paul Robeson in Tom Cornford’s I Have Done The State Some Service.
