Growing up in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, Lisa-Anne Wood is an English musical theatre performer and actor. She moved to London when she was 17. Her relocation was her first step towards initiating a career as a professional actress. Her luck opened up when, a year later, she joined the Guildford School of Acting. Lisa-Anne previously appeared as an ensemble member in *Wicked* on London's West End.
While training, she performed as Athena in Oresteia, Viola in Twelfth Night, Elizabeth in Robert and Elizabeth, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, and Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie.
Training:
Lisa received her training from the Guildford School of Acting. She graduated with a BA Honours Degree in acting and musical theatre in July 2011.
Theatre:
Her theatre credits include The Wind in the Willows (workshop); Les Miserables (Queen’s); The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s) and Wicked (Apollo Victoria). She has also made appearances as Princess Apricot in Jack and the Beanstalk at SECC Clyde Auditorium, Rebecca in My Land’s Shore at Drill Hall, Mrs Anderssen in A Little Night Music in Concert at Yvonne Arnaud, Claire Clairmont in Lord Byron’s Mistress at Jermyn Street, Amy March in Little Women in Concert at the Playhouse, Precious McGuire in Steel Pier at Union, and Cosette in One Day More at the Classic Brit Awards, ITV2 and Royal Albert Hall.
