Gemma Atkins is a British theatre and television actress. She is also a professional singer with an album to her name, along with several stage performances.
Training:
Gemma trained at the Laine Theatre Arts and graduated with a Musical Theatre diploma in 2004.
Theatre:
She played the role of swing/Miss Herman, Mabel, understudying and playing Serena in the tour of Fame; Miss Lynch, understudying and playing Rizzo and Jan in the tour of Grease; Belle in Dreams from a Summer House, directed by Tudor Davies, and Little Me in LTA Studio Centre; Mother Goose at the Horsham Arts Centre; Dick Whittington at Horsham Arts Centre; Pearle in Starlight Express; alternate Evita in the UK tour of Evita; Ruth in It’s a Wonderful Life at New Wolsey Theatre; Juliet and Lily in Me and Juliet at the Finborough Theatre; Jullie Jordan in Carousel at Broadway Theatre; ensemble and understudying Nessarose and Elphaba in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria; understudy Eva Peron in Evita at the Dominion Theatre; understudy Nicola and ensemble in Kinky Boots; ensemble in Hello, Dolly! at the Adelphi Theatre.
Gemma played the Lead Singer in West-End Experience at St Ives, Cornwall and Civic, Bedworth. She also played Gwen in the workshop of the musical Arie, Gwen and Lance at the Hampstead Theatre, London.

Apart from offering vivid performances onstage, she has also worked in BBC’s The Biz, Blue Peter, and CBBC’s The Slammer.

Gemma recorded her first solo album, Yesterday Tomorrow (Making Records).
