Christopher Tendai is a choreographer and West End performer, and he is currently in Matilda: The Musical. He runs his dance company called CTC Company. He has a fair share of experience in both Musical Theatre and Commercial.
Training:
In 2011, Tendai attended the prestigious Urdang Academy. He graduated in 2014 with a BA Honours Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre.
Theatre:
Among his theatre credits is him playing Duck in In the Willows at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre; Swing in Hamilton in the West End; Swing in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre; Cover Benny in In the Heights at the King’s Cross Theatre.
TV:
On the screen, he appeared as a Dancer in ITV’s Brit Awards, BBC’s The Greatest Dancer, The Feeling, London Olympics, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Fleur East at the Wimbledon Stadium and BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Choreography:
He has choreographed for various shows on famous venues; Identity for Young Actors Theatre, Hamilton Cast at Westend Eurovision, the UK Tour of Union J, and the Piano Legends National Tour.
