Sarah Lark was born on 28th January 1983. She is a Welsh actress and singer who became recognised in 2008 as one of the finalists in BBC’s I’d Do Anything. Sarah started her career at the age of 12 when she played the leading character in the musical Annie. She made her West End debut originating the role of Little Girls in The Witches of Eastwick.
Training:
Sarah went to the Royal Academy of Music for a Post-Graduate course.
Theatre:
She has worked extensively in theatre including playing the role of Little Girl in The Witches of Eastwick (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane); Lisa and Sophie in Mamma Mia! (Prince of Wales Theatre); Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (UK Productions); Strawberry Seller, covered and played Nancy in Oliver! (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), and Miss Mona in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Union Theatre).
She was also in Beautiful and Damned (Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford), Snoopy the Musical (Jermyn Street), Carrie’s War (UK Tour), Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables (Sondheim/Queen’s Theatre) and Oklahoma! (BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall).
Workshop: Her workshop credits include Billy, Twang, Whistle Down the Wind, Betwixt and Mathilde (directed by Simon Callow).
Film:
She was in the 2018 comedy/mystery film, Holmes & Watson.
TV:
On television, she was in The X Factor with Mamma Mia! Barrymore, The Biz, The Healer, Just Up Your Street, and I’d Do Anything.
