Sam Peggs is a new actor in the English theatre scene. Hailing from Greater London, England, he is currently appearing in Les Misérables at West End’s Sondheim Theatre. Sam is a talented pianist, guitarist, and singer. His vocal skills mainly involve tenor and high baritone.
Training:
He attended the Arts Educational Schools, London for a 3-year BA Honours degree in Musical Theatre, graduating in 2017.
Theatre:
Sam’s work in theatre includes Isaac Tallentire in Brendan Mathews’ The Hired Man at The Union Theatre in 2017; Ensemble and Hog Eye in Nikolai Foster’s Sunset Boulevard in the No.1 UK Tour and the Leicester Curve in 2018; Phileas Fogg in Around The World In 80 Days at The Union Theatre in 2018; Ben Levitowitz in Bronagh Lagan’s Rags at the Hope Mill Theatre in 2019, and Swing/Assistant Dance Captain in Laurence Connor, James Powell’s Les Misérables at The Sondheim Theatre (Cameron Mackintosh Ltd. 2020).
He was also in James Tobias’ panto Dick Whittington as the lead at Immersion Theatre and Kenton Theatre in 2018, and the workshop for Katy Lipson’s To Paint The Earth at the Southwark Playhouse and From Page to Stage.
