Rob Houchen was born on 10th February 1991. He is an English singer and actor, widely popular as a musical performer. After completing his studies at the Guildford School of Acting in musical theatre, he took part in various musicals. The productions included Children of Eden, Candide, The Producers, and Spring Awakening.
He became a part of the London production of the Les Miserables musical in June 2013, portraying the character of Marius Pontmercy. He was on the show until its 30th anniversary. He has also been part of a special concert version of Godspell, a Stephen Schwartz musical presented at the Lyric Theatre, and in a concert to commemorate Marvin Hamlisch’s work at the St James Theatre, London in July 2014. On 12th February 2016, he joined the Titanic musical, and four months later launched his first CD, Rob Houchen.

He studied in Guildford School of Acting from where he earned his BA Hons degree in musical theatre.

His theatre credits include Eugenius (Return London Engagement, 2018); Les Miserables (West End Staged Concert Revival, 2019); The Light in the Piazza (LA Opera Production, 2019) and City of Angels (West End Revival, 2020).
TV:
His television credits include West Side Stories: The Making of a Classic, a BBC TV movie where he played Tony.
