Originally from Manchester, Rebecca Gilliand is a renowned actress. She is perhaps best known for her lead roles in The Hired Man, My Land’s Shore, and The Clockmaker’s Daughter. Born 29th March 1994, Rebecca is now based in London and has worked in numerous theatre shows. Often, she is seen in Concerts and Charity evening, helping raise awareness for different causes. Her specific singing skill is of a Soprano, apart from which she is also adept at Jazz and Tap dancing, making her an all-round Musical Theatre performer. Rebecca is currently working as 1st cover Elphaba in the West End Cast of Wicked.

She attended The London School of Musical Theatre (LSMT), graduating in 2014.

Rebecca has showcased brilliant performances in several shows. Her credits include Donna in Adam Lenson’s The Goodbye Girl at Upstairs at The Gatehouse (2015); cover Constance/Lucille in Robert McWhir’s The Clockmaker’s Daughter at The Landor Theatre (2015); Angharad in Brendan Matthew’s My Land’s Shore (All Star Productions, 2017); Emily in Brendan Matthew’s The Hired Man (Really Useful Group Ltd, 2017); Lady Macbeth in Macbeth’s international tour (2018); Rebecca in Ray Rackham’s Just Another Love Story at the Arts Theatre London (2018); Belle in Little Wolf Productions’ Beauty and the Beast at the Loughborough Town Hall (2018-19).
While training at the LSMT, she acted as Sophie in The Faith Machine (2013), Viola in Twelfth Night (2014), and Cosette in Les Miserables (2014).
Concerts:
Rebecca was a part of Natalie Weiss in The West End at the St James Theatre (2014). She was a featured Soprano in Seasons of Larson at the Lyric Apollo (2016).
