Philip Catchpole is a talented young British performer who has steadily made a name in the industry. He began his journey to the West End stage in the mid-1990s with his training, after which he became involved in a variety of projects related to theatre.

Between 1995 and 2002, he attended the Elmhurst School for Dance and Performing Arts, during which he also worked with the National Youth Music Theatre and National Youth Theatre.

His credits include performing aboard the P&O Cruises (Aurora Theatre Company, Cruising Musicals Consortium), Sleeping Beauty with the Vienna Festival Ballet in the UK National Tour, Cinderella (Sunderland Empire), Footloose in the Original European Tour, Dick Whittington at the Nottingham Theatre Royal, Dance Captain and understudied Inventor in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in the Original UK National Tour and London Palladium, White Christmas at the Southampton Mayflower Theatre, Cole in Stolen at the Landor Theatre, Marshall Blackstone in Babes in Arms at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Playing IQ and understudied Link Larkin in Hairspray at Shaftesbury Theatre, Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, an ensemble and understudied Prince Herbert, Patsy and Sir Robin in the UK Tour of Spamalot, The Wizard Of Oz at the London Palladium, understudies Boq in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria, Gypsy at the Savoy Theatre, and is currently appearing in The Book Of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
TV/Film:
On television, Philip was in ITV’s This Morning and also played a Masquerade Dancer in The Phantom Of The Opera, the feature film.
