Paul F Monaghan is a London-based actor. Originally from Ireland, Paul was born in Dublin on July 11, 1963. After completing education and professional training, he made his debut in Ireland in Jesus Christ Superstar, playing Pontius Pilate opposite Colm Wilkinson. He finally moved to London in 1991 to play in the classic Les Miserables and eventually performed in several famous theatres, including musicals and pantomime. He also performed in numerous concerts. In 1993, he conceived, arranged, produced, and directed a series of concerts named "Les Miscellaneous" and travelled all around the UK and Ireland. Paul has also appeared in movies and television shows. Currently, he is playing leading roles in hit West End musicals Cats and Mary Poppins. He is related to famous Hollywood star Collin Farrell, who is his nephew and godson.

Paul's theatre credits include several important and leading roles in numerous hit theatres and musicals, such as Admiral Boom and Bank Chairman in Mary Poppins, Gus/Bustopher Jones in Cats, Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd, Muleteer in Man of La Mancha, Bishop/Javert in Les Miserables, Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Andre and Phantom in The Phantom of The Opera, and Anatoly in Chess. He also created the roles of Mr. Carney in A Man Of No Importance, Mr. Scheinkopf in Fame, and Marcel in Aspects Of Love.
