Luke McCall comes from North Wales. Although he has appeared on the Welsh TV channel S4C on various occasions, he is primarily focused in Theatre. He was part of the West End production of the Phantom of the Opera in London.
He loves sports and fitness. As for hobbies, he plays rugby, football, badminton, snooker and also does CrossFit and weight training.
Training:
McCall received the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarship; he went to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama to earn his MA Degree in Musical Theatre from (2013-14). He also attended the Maldwyn School of Theatre.
Theatre:
Young in the industry, his passion drives him. McCall’s theatre credits include Feuilly, 1st Cover Enjolras and 2nd Cover Jean Valjean in Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre; Charles Lightoller in Titanic: The Musical on its International tour; Llew in Man of La Mancha at the Coliseum, and Cover Phantom in Phantom of The Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre. McCall also starred in BYMT’s production of According to Brian Haw (2013), Macbeth (2011, 12) and The Beggar’s Opera (2010).
While he was training, he continued his work in Theatre and was seen in After Miss Julie, The World Goes Round, and Company.
TV:
He was in the television special, Last Night of the Proms from Around the UK 2015. Heno, Prynhawn Da, Noson Lawen and Llwyfan are among others.
Music:
He is a highly talented singer and is adept in rock singing, opera, falsetto, high baritone, dramatic baritone, contemporary singing, baritone-high, ballad and classical singing. He is also a good dancer.
