Born on 15th July 1995, Christine Marie Allado is a Filipino-British actress and singer. She is famous for playing the roles of Maria Reynolds and Peggy Schuyler in the multi Olivier and Tony award-winning West End production of Hamilton: An American Musical.
Her Classical Soprano roots, combined with a new-age twist of Jazz and Pop, gives her voice a beautiful essence, earning her high praise. She has appeared on broadcasts and stages in London’s West End and across Asia.
She began her acting career in the Philippines, where she appeared in productions like Hairspray (2008), The Phantom of the Opera: Revue (2009) and Joseph the Dreamer (2009). She moved to Hong Kong to play leading roles in The Golden Mickeys (2010) and Disney’s High School Musical (2009).
Her big break came in the form of a music competition in London, where she amazed the judges with her performance. She earned the featured role in Sir Tim Rice’s From Here to Eternity (2013). She became a professional artist in London and follows both careers as a singer and an actress, while also being a part of the original London cast of Hamilton.
