A Conversation on "Making a Murderer" with Attorneys Dean Strang & Jerry Buting is on tour - and one of the stops is the London Palladium this autumn!
Following the successful North American dates of “A Conversation of Justice” tour, Dean Strang and Jerry Buting, defence attorneys for Steven Avery in the Netflix docuseries “Making A Murderer,” have announced a UK date at the London Palladium on Sunday, October 23.
The event at the London Palladium will showcase an evening of conversation with these two compelling figures featured in the docuseries. Strang and Buting will participate in a discussion regarding the operations of the criminal justice system in the United States and abroad, as well as the broader implications of the Steven Avery case.
The discussion will be moderated by special guest David Wilson, who is Professor of Criminology at Birmingham City University and Director of the University’s Centre for Criminal Justice Policy and Research. David recently presented and created the critically acclaimed documentary, “Interview With A Murderer” on Channel 4, which has currently been watched by over 2 million people. The night will also feature a Q&A portion for audience members to address questions directly to Strang and Buting.
“Making A Murderer” debuted in December 2015 and showcases Avery and his multiple criminal cases, particularly the 2005 murder of Teresa Halbach. Avery was convicted in March 2007 and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
