Miranda Hart to make West End debut as Miss Hannigan in Annie at the Piccadilly Theatre

Multi-award winning actress, writer and comedian Miranda Hart will make her West End debut bringing life to the role of Miss Hannigan in Nikolai Foster's production of Annie.

The musical, based on the Little Orphan Annie comic strips, has become a beloved classic spawning multiple award-winning Broadway and West End runs as well as critically acclaimed films. 

Miranda Hart has described the part, known for its much-loved anthem Little Girls, as a dream role.  The show, produced by Michael Harrison and David Ian, will offer half-price children's tickets Monday to Thursday. 

Previews for the show are scheduled to begin 23 May 2017 ahead of the opening 5 June. Miranda Hart is set to perform until 17 September 2017.
