Sam Tutty is a young actor from England. Born 9th April 1998, he rose to fame after playing the titular role of Evan in the West End production of Dear Evan Hansen. Sam made his debut at the end of 2019 and was part of the original West End production.

Fun fact: In October 2017, he uploaded a video “Waving Through a Window – Dear Evan – Italia Conti Arts Centre” where he sang the hit Dear Evan Hansen song. He got the role from an open call audition.

He graduated with a degree in acting from the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

His role as Evan nominated him for a Critics’ Circle Theatre Award for Best Newcomer.

Experience:

Sam has only started his career. While training, he played a few roles in shows like the Imberhorne School Musical “Grease: The Musical” where he played T-Bird “Doody” (2012); “We Will Rock You” where he portrayed Galileo (2014); lead role in “The Wizard of Oz” where he played Scarecrow (2015).
