Jordan Livesey is a seasoned actor with training in dance and musical theatre. Based in London, he has worked professionally in both theatre and the screen and gained increasing popularity in the past few years.
Training:
Jordan trained initially in dance under Ms Valerie Guy at the Jersey Academy of Dancing. Later, he attended the Guildford School of Acting from 2011 to 2014 and graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Musical Theatre.
Theatre:
His theatre credits include Ensemble in Jerry Mitchell’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels in the ATG Tour (2015); cover Gremio in Jo Davies’ Kiss Me, Kate at the Welsh National Opera (2016); first cover Albin/Dance Captain in Bill Dreamer and Martin Connor’s La Cage Aux Folles (Bill Kenwright Ltd, 2017); Ensemble/alternate Emcee in Rufus Norris’ Cabaret (2017); Ensemble/cover Hortensio in Ed Goggin and Will Tucket’s Kiss Me, Kate at the Opera North (2018); Ensemble in Sir Richard Eyre’s Mary Poppins at Cameron Mackintosh Ltd and Stage Entertainment.
While in the GSA, he played Czolgosh in Assassins (2012), Prince John in Twang!! (2013), Mr Jefferson/Mr Grey/Ensemble in Rent (2013), Sonny in Michael Vivian’s Grease (2014) and Walter in Chess (2014). He was an Ensemble/Dance Captain in Jack and the Beanstalk (Pantomime, 2015).
Film:
Jordan was a dancer and assistant in Stuart Winter’s Pop (2015).
TV:
He was a dancer in the BBC documentary Pride & Prejudice: Having a Ball (Optomen Productions, 2012).
Other Credits:
Among his other projects is his work as Associate Choreographer in Ian Talbot and Kenn Oldfield’s Twang!! (2013).
