John Moabi is a London-based actor. Originally from South Africa, he is also a well-known dancer and recording artist. Currently, he performs in the West End musical Thriller Live, which holds the record of running for ten years in London's West End.
Award:
John received the Mandela/ Sainsbury scholarship in 1999. Also, he was one of the iconic Mandela's Dancers. He undertook this project to demonstrate South African dance's role in the struggle against the infamous Apartheid regime.
Training:
He professionally trained in Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in Johannesburg, South Africa.
