Eleanor Sanderson-Nash was born in Wadhurst in East Sussex. She is a skilled soprano who has become famous for her performances in various occasions.
Awards:
She received the Ted Moss and Bertha Taylor-Stach Prize and the winner of the first prize in the RCM Lieder Competition in 2017. She was also a finalist in the Royal Overseas League Annual Music Competition 2018 and the Maureen Lehane Vocal Awards 2017.
Training:
Eleanor graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a First Class Honours degree in 2015. She went to the Royal College of Music for a Masters of Performance degree and graduated with Distinction in 2017. She was supported by a Charles Branchini Award and a Martin Harris Award, the Tom Cocklin Memorial Trust, The Lake House Charitable Foundation, Friends of Music in Mayfield and the Josephine Baker Trust.
Theatre:
Her on-stage experience involves creating the role of Nadia in Killer Graphics in the Royal College of Music’s collaboration with Tête à Tête Opera and playing the role of Princess Isolde in In Night’s Darkling Glory, which was the first immersive classical music experience by the Arensky Chamber Orchestra. She appeared as April in Company at the Royal Northern College of Music; Eurilla in Acis and Galatea (RCM at Aldeburgh), Childerico in Faramondo at the London Handel Festival, Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro at the Merry Opera Company; First Woman in The Vanishing Bridegroom at the British Youth Theatre; Zerlina in Don Giovanni at the Opera Holland Park Young Artist; cover Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera at the Grange Park Opera; Mary Crawford in Mansfield Park at the Waterperry Opera Festival, and is currently an ensemble in The Phantom Of The Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre.

Eleanor’s recent concert engagements include Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle, Haydn St Nicholas Mass, Dvorak Stabat Mater and Rutter Requiem among others.
