David Breeds is a professional theatre actor based in the UK. Growing up in Southend on Sea, he trained in acting on a full scholarship at Colin’s Performing Arts Studios. He was also a recipient of Stephen Sondheim Student Performer of the Year. David made his debut in the West End in the 2019 production of Dear Evan Hansen.

Currently appearing as cover Evan/Jared/Connor in Dear Evan Hansen at the Noel Coward Theatre, he also played Walter Grubb in Paul Clarkson’s The Dreaming at the Union Theatre (2014).

His credits include playing Lionel Bart in the rehearsed reading of Be Back Soon at the Theatre Royal Stratford East (2014); Marty in Back To The Future (corporate event, 2015); Gulliver in the demo recording of Gulliver’s Travels (2015); Fishin Hero in the commercial for Gran Pavesi (2015); Ricky Sterling in Big Time! at the Theatre Royal Stratford East (2015); Finn in the rehearsed reading of A Teenage Opera, YMT UK (2016); Prince Charming in the Cinderella pantomime (2016); Invited Artist in The Stephen Sondheim Society Presents at The Phoenix Artist Club (2016); Emperor of Lilliput in the workshop for Gulliver’s Travels (2016); Understudy Danny and Tommo in The Girls at Leeds Grand/The Lowry (2016); Ensemble in Are You As Nervous As I Am? At the Southwark Playhouse (2017); Jordan in the commercial for Data Anonymous (2017); Lemuel Gulliver in the workshop for Gulliver’s Travels (2017), and is set to be part of David Breeds – Back From The Thunderdome at Above The Stag Theatre (2021).
