Danny Becker is a British theatre and movie actor. He is currently appearing as the original West End Cast, covering the role of Moses in The Prince of Egypt.
Training:
Danny graduated from the Arts Educational Schools, London with a BA Honours degree in Musical Theatre in 2015. Before that, he attended the BRIT School of Performing Arts for a 2-year Musical Theatre degree (2012).
Theatre:
He was a soloist in Innis Robertson’s The Twelve Tenors (Spirit Productions, 2015); ensemble in Michael Strassen’s The Who’s Tommy at the Greenwich Theatre (2015); lead vocalist in Melanie Graml’s Aida (2016); Niki in Randy Smartnick’s Out Of This World at the Old Rose & Crown (2016); ensemble in the UK tour of Tom Swift’s The Little Mermaid (2017); ensemble/covered and played the title role in Casey Nicholaw’s Aladdin at the Prince Edward Theatre (2017); Fabrizio Naccarelli understudy and ensemble in Daniel Evans’ The Light In The Piazza at La Opera, S2 Ltd (2019); Don Lockwood in Chris Cumming’s Singing In The Rain (Taylorian Productions, 2019); Moses and Aaron understudy and ensemble in Scott Schwartz’s The Prince Of Egypt at the Dominion (2019) and Jamie Wellerstein in Lauren Samuel’s The Last Five Years (2020).
Film:
Danny is also an onscreen actor and has worked in feature films like James Marsh’ The Theory Of Everything (Working Title Films, 2014); Sweets in Joe Johnston’s The Nutcracker And The Four Realms (Walt Disney Pictures, 2018) and Lover in Dexter Fletcher’s Rocketman (Marv Films, 2018).
TV:
His television projects include John Maidens’ Justice For A Murdered Son (ITV, 2012); The 2015 Olivier Awards (ITV) and Mark Brozel’s Humans (Channel 4, 2018).
Concerts:
Danny’s singing skills make him an efficient vocalist. His performances involve Viam at the 02 Arena and Wembley Stadium (2012) and Follies at the Royal Albert Hall (2015).
