Cat Simmons, born on 4th May 1981 is an accomplished English actress from Blackburn, Lancashire, best known for her roles in The Bill (1984), Ordinary Lies (2015) and Killing Eve (2018). She is the daughter of a singer and nurse.
Training:
She went to the National Youth Music Theatre and also trained with the Oldham Theatre Workshop.
Theatre:
She has several stage credits to her name, including her performance as Captain Gower in Robert Hastie’s Henry V (2016); Hannah and Others in Christopher Ashley’s Come From Away (2018), as well as the same roles in the same production in 2019.
She was also in Jesus Christ Superstar as Soul Girl, Simply Heavenly as Joyce Lane (Young Vic, Royal National Theatre Studio, 2003); Oliver! (UK Tour, 2011); Wig Out! (Reading at the National Theatre, 2017); Hopelessly Devoted (The Tricycle Theatre, Marlowe Theatre, and Paines Plough, Birmingham Repertory Theatre, 2013-14) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (The Lyric Hammersmith, 2016).
