Bonnie Melody Lysette Langford is an English singer, dancer and actress. Born 22nd July 1964, she entered television in the 70s as a child star. She has immense experience in theatre, film, TV and radio in both America and Britain. She was noticed at the age of 6 when she won “Opportunity Knocks” the reality show.
Her West End theatre debut happened with Gone with the Wind at the age of 7. She was also Baby June in Gypsy at the Piccadilly Theatre. Her fantastic performance made the producers take her to America, where she enjoyed a wildly successful Broadway run. She also became nominated for a Drama Desk Award when she was only 10 years old.
In the 70s, she was a regular on a kids’ prime-time show called Junior Showtime. In 1972, she was also seen in the London production of Scarlett.

Bonnie went to the Arts Educational School and the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

Her numerous theatre credits include 9 to 5: The Musical; 42nd Street (musical); Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (musical); Spamalot; The Night of 1,000 Voices; Chicago; Gypsy; Gone with the Wind; Children Will Listen, and Guys and Dolls.
Her pantomime appearances include Aladdin, Cinderella, Dick Whittington, Jack & the Beanstalk, and Peter Pan.

Bonnie has made several appearances, which includes EastEnders (2015-18); Children in Need (2015); The Spa (2013); Hotel Babylon (2008); Britannia High (2008); School’s Out (2006); Mirrorball (2000); Goodnight Sweetheart: How I Won the War (1999); Showstoppers (1994); Doctor Who: The Afterparty (2013); and Just William (1977).

A woman of many talents, she also has many albums to her name. Some of them are Leading Ladies (2009); Jazz at the Theatre (2003); The Hot Shoe Show (1983) and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
