Arun Blair-Mangat is a young, professional stage actor who is known for working both on the stage and screen. He graduated with BA in History from the London School of Economics in 2015. Based in London, he is also well-known for his prowess in music and vocal talents.

In 2017, he received the Basic Theatre Award for Best Understudy for his work in Jerry Mitchell’s Kinky Boots.

Arun may not have been on stage for too long but has several theatre credits under his sleeve. They include Pravesh Kumar’s Britain’s Got Bhangra (2010) in the UK Tour and the Theatre Royal Stratford, where he played the role of Jason; Anthony Williams’ Hairspray (2012) as Seaweed J. Stubbs; Jack O’Brien’s Hairspray (2013) as a Swing; Rae McKen’s Romeo and Juliet (2014) in its UK Tour as Romeo; Lucy Bailey’s Titus Andronicus (2014) as Goth/Bestiari; Jerry Mitchell’s Kinky Boots (2015) as an Understudy of Lola and as Angel in the same year; Marianne Elliott’s Angels in America – Parts One and Two (2017) as an Understudy of Belize.
He has also appeared in About a Bot in its UK Tour; Company at the Aberdeen Arts Centre; Titus Andronicus at the Shakespeare’s Globe; In the Heights at the King’s Cross Theatre; Leave to Remain at the Lyric Hammersmith; The Drag and Wig Out at the National Theatre.

Arun’s work on television includes Danny in The Royals (E!, 2018) and Press (BBC).
